Each sign is given a "ruling" planet to which it's aligned. It just gives a little more detail for things.
Technically though, I believe you'd be a Leo-Virgo cusp.

Whether or not you are considered "on the cusp" actually has to do with the date and time you were born, not the generaliztions of the dates given with horoscopes.
