Re: Halloween
Your Florida is blechy. You must be born there to not melt into a pile of goo on the sidewalk in the full glare of the sun on what they consider an even remotely humid day. The only reason you don't mind it is because you have an a/c :p

Always wanted to live in the high desert. I considered living in Nevada for a while, like in Vegas or something but I dunno. I love Oregon too much.Brinckmyster wrote:I live in what's called the "high desert"
However I'm not a big forest-y person. I don't know why. :/ Maybe coz my lack of coordination lets me get lost within a few minutes.

I like the high desert, but it's highs are higher than the regular desert and the lows are lower than a regular desert. Oregon (what I've heard of it, anyway) sounds like a great place.

Not true! My car last year didn't have an A/C but I survived there still quite well. ^^
Also, I wasn't born in Florida!
So your whole argument just came apart at the seams, hm?

Re: Halloween
Oregon is absolutely beautiful :D The coast especially. There's a HUGE fault line like... 10 miles I think off the coast of Newport, and it's said to give any day now and let loose a 10.0 earthquake. (Personally I think National Geographic blew it out of proportion a bit and assumed the worst; I think it'll give in short bursts, like a 5.6 here, a 3.5 there, you dig?) Even so I'd live there :3 I'd take the risk. Maybe. Still considering it xDBrinckmyster wrote:PeinQ wrote:Always wanted to live in the high desert. Mikel: I'm not kidding either! xD I got lost in the woods coz I was looking for a woodpecker I heard :/ I turned around and my group was gone. DX hahahaha!

I'm sure you survived but I betcha it was unpleasant at least. (I meant a/c in the house anyway)
And I knew you weren't. Texas, right?? Well, they have equal heat and count just the same.

Re: Halloween
humidity is different in Texas from Florida though Sammy... and humidity makes a HUGE difference in how hot you are.
PeinQ - ever heard of the San Andreas fault? It's literally just a few miles away from where I live.

Eh, I delivered pizzas in that car during the summer months. But it was a pain, so.
Texas, yep. Texas is hotter. Dry air hot.

Re: Halloween
Yup. One of the more well known fault lines it seems. That's awesome, if not slightly nerve wracking O:Brinckmyster wrote:humidity is different in Texas from Florida though Sammy... and humidity makes a HUGE difference in how hot you are.

Mikel: Wait I don't think I ever asked you, how bad is the humidity where you are? O: Like on a scale of 1-10 o-o; hahahaha

Re: Halloween
awesome? I've never been to see it, but I've always lived near a fault line (usually the San Andreas) so it's just part of life to me.

Re: Halloween
I think I prefer humid to dry air hot. But that might be because I'm used to humid hot.

How?! You can always layer up when you get cold, but you can only take so much off in the heat O_o

Re: Halloween
Good point and I thought of that, but I can't stand shivering. I don't LIKE being excessivly hot, but I feel cold 95% of the time so during the winter I'm like, extra cold and it's no fun :/

Despite my delicious logic up there, I also am starting to despise the cold.

Exactly. I don't know. You have good logic! But even today my little sister-friend put her hand up to my face and was all "Oh my God you're cool! Like... temperature-wise..." hahaha I don't like it either DX Shivering sucks.

Re: Halloween
I don't like either extreme, but I prefer hot right now. Dry heat is my friend, humidity is not.
