Re: Marry Christmas AA
But of course. Why do you think we celebrate half the holidays we do?! I saw a poster once that had a reason to celebrate for ever day of the year
I wish I could find it again...

Re: Marry Christmas AA
We're celebrating a random victory for the Mexican army?
Weird.

Re: Marry Christmas AA
Well, a lot of Americans think it's the Mexican version of the 4th of July and celebrate accordingly.

Re: Marry Christmas AA
But that's also kind of weird that we're celebrating other country's holidays...
We don't celebrate other country's holidays, do we? Like Canadian Thanksgiving or Japan's Golden Week (though we suffer for it)

Now why would anyone celebrate a Canadian holiday??
How do we suffer for Golden week??

Re: Marry Christmas AA
we may not celebrate the Canadian holidays, but they do show up on our calendars.
Japan's Golden Week? That sounds familiar but I'm not placing it...

Very good, Mikel. Haha. I am surprised you knew what I was thinking.
Speaking of Manga updates, where the freedom is Bakuman?
The other mangas were like, 4 days late...but Bakuman is like, a week late.

Re: Marry Christmas AA
It's a week with a string of holidays.. I think it's something like...In Japan the day after a holiday is considered a holiday as well - it's the Emporers birthday, I think and some other ones O_o, and since there's a holiday every other day that week (or maybe almost every other day??) People get the whole week off from work/school.
