My grandpa is somewhat hard of hearing, so he repeats what he heard to make sure he's got it right. He won't question it, he just repeats it. Sometimes he translates it into his way of speaking.

Grandpa: "Where's [Yoyo's dad]?"
Mom: "He went to the bank after work."
Grandpa: "Oh, he's holding up the bank."
And conversation continued as normal. Turns out my mom's family refers to a trip to the bank as holding it up. xD

It was sunset... The sun was just low enough that it was somewhat obscured by trees and clouds, but you could still see it fairly well.
