Shoujo Anime/Manga?

Yeah... I love shoujo. I don't appreciate shounen much but there are rare gems I like.

My favorite shoujo right now:

Vampire Knight

Skip Beat

My Boyfriend is A Vampire

Dengeki Daisy

Kaichou Wa Maid-sama

Kyou Koi Wo Hajimemasu


Hope the list grows.

Sailor Moon is a classic, and a few CLAMP titles could easily fit into that, such as Cardcaptor Sakura.

Isn't shoujo girl's manga/anime?

Pretty much, yeah.

Shoujo anime is intended for an audience of I think something like 9-16 ish. There's also Josei which is intended for a much older, more "mature" audience. Shounen is the real kick people around stuff mostly, intended for younger males, while Seinen is for older males,and tends to be on the perverted side.

All generalizations of course.

shoujo is more on the slice of life kinda stuff. though with lots of romance intended.
although ouran isn't a slice of life. :P

Shoujo is mostly romance, yeah.

Some Shoujo is also the magical girl variety. Not too many, but still a good few. Magical girl kinda breaks the Shoujo / Seinen variety. lol

I do like my romance / slice of life though, but I think the better ones fall under the Josei title.
