New Anime Series

Talk about new series that are coming out that you like here, yo!

Right now I like Stein's Gate, and I want to look into Ao No Exorcist as I've heard good things about it. Another new series I enjoy is Sket Dance.

I'm also looking forward to the return of Bakuman in Fall! And at some point I'm thinking of watching Toriko.

What about you guys? Seen any relatively new series and what did you think of them?

Ao No exorcist is definitely a good one and the story just keeps getting better and more interesting as it continues. im going to look into an anime called Blood-C that's based off the Blood:Last Vampire & Blood+ franchise. Plus i've recently got into Durarara this month^_^

I've seen some of Blood+ but I didn't get very far into it. Is it good?

And yeah, Ao No Exorcist is bomb.

Blood+ was pretty good story to me, its kinda slow at first in some of the episodes but very good as you get into it.

yea Blue exorcist is especially the latest episode^_^

I remember Blood+ being kind of interesting. Hm. Maybe I should go back and check it out? I only ever saw about 3 episodes of it...

I can honestly say I hope Ao No Exorcist lasts a long time and stuff. I like it.

Yea i hope it lasts a good amount of time too^_^ I also might look into No.6 maybe i read a reviewer's article on it on animenewsnetwork earlier & Usagi Drop

I have checked out No. 6 but I honestly have no clue what to say about it, Cris.

I'm curently waiting for the next Ao no Exorcist to come out. The Manga is a bit further, so I read in there. >.>

In any case, I rather like it, I think i put it up on my page; It's just a pain waiting for Kodomo no Jikan to get a new chapter out. X.x It's released pretty much monthly, which sucks. xD

The new episode is up. I'll watch it before the night is up, yup.

Kodomo no Jikan is a series about a 9 year old girl who's very flirty toward her 23 year old teacher, who often pushes the advances she makes aside. It gets worse as the manga goes on, which goes up to include more mature content and art.

In my anime list, I actually listed it as my to;p obsession, and it's true. However, I also said I couldn't recommend it to anyone. xD

I'm sure quite a fair sum of it's fan base is a fan of lolicon. It's not allowed in the states due to later scenes in the manga (Such as one involving an older teacher, but I'm not going over that).

I rather enjoy the romance part of the story, the humor, and how crazy part of the cast is. I enjoy the drama in some of my series, especially when parts of it can hit at the extreme ends of the "slice of life" type of series. Plus, it's fun watching the "moral" struggle of some of the people in this series, as well as the inside look of being a teacher (a profession I've longed to be for quite a long while. xD which is also particularly why I like Great Teacher Onizuka so much!).

Some of the changes are things I relate too, so there's that too. Nice to see people doing things I've yet too, and how it changes them.

I'm not sure how extreme 'slice of life' can be :p

xD Yes! I've wanted to be an elementary school teacher for a rather long time! Unfortunately, I can't afford it. xD

Gotta get a degree in teaching, and you have to learn child psychology, lectures on how to teach better, etc... It's a lot, and I can't afford it, and I refuse to ask for a loan on such things. xD Daycare was likely my second choice.

As for GTO, I always liked stories from the teachers perspective. So many are about the kids, and just "How mean my teacher is!" Nice to see why the teacher is the way they are, and how they can change their students (even if it's just one or two, or, three, as in Kodomo no Jikan). I still wanna rewatch I My Me, Strawberry Eggs for this reason.

Makes sense. Although I'm quite sure I've never heard of the last two you mentioned.
