Anime Music

I always found, that along with artwork, and storyline, the music can really make or break an anime. If not, even more so than the story and the art. Imagine if FMA's score consisted of dueling banjos type music every time a fight commenced? Who'd wanna continue watching it!? Even if you like that sort of music, it wouldn't be anywhere near as popular as it is now.

So, what are some of your favorite songs from anime!?

For me, I gotta say, Cowboy Bebop really started me on that. Great songs such as Waltz for Zizi, Space Lion, Digging My Potato, Real Folk Blues, and so on.

Cowboy Bebop did have really good songs.

I don't look up the songs unless I really, really love them. Like The season 4 Digimon theme song that I replay over and over again. So I don't know the names but Samurai Champloo had some ones I liked too.

FMA, Code Geass, OP (Has tons of music, but a few really good ones), Bleach, the original non Shippuden Naruto, Death Note, Fairy Tail (Big time here), Brotherhood, Durarara, Hellsing = All have great Soundtracks.

Which song from Digimon?

I haven't seen all those yet Q, will likely listen to some of them, but I did like the oens from FMA, Geass. Bleach, Naruto and Death Note didn't stand out very much for me though.

I also really enjoyed .hack//sign's compositions.

Well Lunami, you would have to be wrong on the Deathnote one. :P L's Theme and the Kira tracks are legendary.

Also the original Naruto and Bleach ones were fantastic.

They just didn't do it for me, that's all. ^^

One Piece has amazing music.

From what I've seen of Fairy tail it has excellent music.

Truthfully the music in a series can make or break it

It's a good series but it's a strange one! It's not something thta can really be explained...it's about...Aliens?? and robots.

Anyway, the Pillows do the soundtracks and they're worth listening to.

It's only 6 episodes long. lol After you watch it, and don't get Fooly Cooly (FLCL), I put up a description in Keya's anime list.

I remember FLCL. Quite the anime, it probably takes a second watching to get it/appreciate it.

It really does. You sorta get things more.

I should rewatch it now... well, later. And then I should see if I can find the manga. O-o

Not like it'd take anymore than 6 hours, unless I'm having issues finding it, anyway. lol

I agree.

A strong soundtrack really enhances an Anime. And if it's already good, it can really become memorable. I love it when a soundtrack seems to fit the Anime perfectly, too.

Kenichi actually has some nice soundtracks.

FLCL. I saw the first episode of it but never saw more.

The reason I stopped was cause I didn't really like the person who recommended it to me.

Probably. My reasons for not watching Animes can be highly flawed.

The music in anime that Susumu Hirasawa gets into seem to be rather good as well (then again, I'm partial to his music, so I may be biased... same with Yoko Kanno... but I digress). Paranoia Agent and Paprika come to mind first.
