Q's Anime/Manga List

Yeah, and I'd actually like to watch it again at some point. When I first watched it I was 15? And I only watched one episode. So. Yeah, I'd like to give it another go now that I'm a bit older. A bit more anime'd.

I thought you said you originally didn't watch FLCL because someone liked it whom you didn't like. Regardless, that was my reason. It's been 3 months, and I didn't exactly look back over everything.

Isn't Brotherhood more or less a remake of FMA with some new details added to it? And that awesome Again song. O-o

No, Brotherhood isn't that. ^^ Not even close.

And FLCL was that, too.

I haven't seen Brotherhood yet, and that's how my brother described it. Only thing I've seen from Brotherhood is the opening, and I love the song, "Again".

Maybe the first few episodes are like that, but that's because the first few episodes of both series follow the manga. Duh.

Alright then, I'll consider it after I finish Nana, Macross Frontier and watching Rurouni Kenshin again.

I've never watched the Kenshin anime mostly because it's freakin' ninety something episodes long and I believe most of them are filler.

Yeah, I started Rurouni Kenshin but as TFK said it is really long and a lot of it seemed fillerish.

Yeah, 95 episodes, I do believe. Think filler started after the Shishio arc, but meh.

I happen to like my Samurai things, be it anime, or movies. I still getthe urge to watch the black and white movies like... Zatoichi. xP

I remember Kenshin's teacher, he was quite awesome. I also liked the loyalist turned policeman.

I liked how he pretty much had only one move and it pretty much beat everyone, except the guy who had no sweat glands.

Yeah, but through the magic of anime he chnged the style of it slightly a few times and bam. Epic win.
Excepet against that guy that looked like a mummy?? Shishio or something?? He had an always-smiling underling who was eneded up going crazy that was spiffy.

Yeah, I can't remember the guy who looks like a mummy's name. The most prominent thing I can remember about him was that he pretty much had no sweat glands and would pretty much die for overheatiing himself.

I believe that's pretty much how he died. Kenshin didn't even beat him - the wuss.

I liked how his teacher always called him his idiot/stupid pupil.

He did have some funny values and all.

In any case, a lot of characters from Kenshin were taken from history, then neo-samuraied / neo-ninjafied.

Mhm ~ That's one of the things I like about it. For some unfathomable reason, I am a Shinsengumi nerd, and as such, appreciate historical references to it in anime.

It happens. ^_^

I love when anime do that as well.

If you like the Shinsengumi then you'd really like Gintama, Sam. ^^ Since a third of the cast is the Shinsengumi.
